The three small houses in Sevedstorp were the inspiration to Astrid Lindgren's books on Bullerbyn. Here, Astrid Lindgren's father, Samuel August, grew up and here the films about Bullerbyn 1986-87 were filmed under the direction of Lasse Hallström.

During the summer, the village lives up, there are a few different animals, you can jump in the hay and in one of the barn there is Café Sörgården where you serve waffles, cheesecake, sandwiches, ice cream etc. In the café there is a small shop with souvenirs, crafts and children's clothing.
